To solve that, I decided to play songs from the Metroid Prime trilogy in the backround based on where I was, such as the first Tallon overworld theme for lush and forest planets. One of the major things about the game that I don't realy like is the fact that the main theme for praticaly every planet is the same. When I started playing starbound, I kinda liked how it had metroid styled gameplay (shoting at enimies while also dodging thier attacks) but added several different new elements (Mining, Hunger, Pets, Ect.) Being a fan of the metroid series, I really liked the overall game, but felt it was (kinda) missing something.
